As Edmonton Screen continues to support the growth of Edmonton and Northern Alberta's film, TV, digital media, and technology industries, access to reliable legal guidance is important to our governance, partnerships, policy development, and organizational decision-making.
Scope of Work
The successful proponent may provide support in the following areas:
- Corporate Governance: Assistance with governance bylaws, board compliance, and annual information returns.
- Contractual Support: Development and review of contracts and legal agreement templates to support industry partnerships.
- Policy Development: Guidance on internal policies and risk management.
- Due Diligence: Corporate and court searches to support informed decision-making.
- General Representation: Ongoing legal counsel and advocacy as Edmonton Screen's needs evolve.
Who Should Apply
Qualified legal firms are invited to submit proposals. Experience related to the screen industries is considered an asset, but is not required.
