Corey Loranger is an actor, TV host, and producer based in Edmonton (Alberta, Canada). He co-founded Far West Productions, the first Francophone audiovisual company in Alberta, and produced the television series Sel et Diesel as well as the web series Abigaëlle. Together, these productions were finalists for the Edmonton Film Prize and won awards for Best Magazine Series and Best Web Series at the Alberta Film and TV Awards. They are both broadcast on Unis TV domestically and TV5MONDE internationally. His new company, Calibou Films, co-produced the feature film Rêver en néon, which recently completed its festival run. It screened at more than 50 festivals including in Montreal (RVQC), Tallinn (PÖFF Black Nights) and Berlin (Telefilm Perspectives Canada at the EFM). It is currently being shown on SRC/CBC and Tou.tv. Awarded Best Actor at the Edmonton International Film Festival for his role in Le Pharmacien, Corey is also known for his performances in Drawing Home and Christmas Cupcakes. He has hosted numerous popular television shows, including Quartier recherché on UNIS TV, as well as major events for the Edmonton Oilers, the Grey Cup, the World Junior Hockey Championship, and FIFA. Corey was also named one of Edmonton's Top 40 Under 40 for his contributions to Alberta’s Francophone and film communities.
