Abdullah Al Muktadir is a Bangladeshi producer, screenwriter and film researcher currently based in Edmonton as a University of Alberta scholar. With over a decade of experience in cinema studies specializing in feminism in Bangladeshi film, he co-wrote the screenplay for "Longest Night of the Year" (2017) and is currently developing multiple Bangladesh government funded feature projects. His latest work, the musical novel Mayar Singhashon (2025), written right here in Edmonton, is now also being adapted for the screen. A storyteller connecting Dhaka to the world, one frame at a time.
